Resilience, Persistence & Grit

What is Operation R.P.G.?

Resilience, Persistence & Grit Program
Vest Up 4 The Fallen — United in Purpose

We operate as one unit, united in purpose, working together to accomplish our mission.

Operation Resilience, Persistence & Grit (R.P.G.), powered by Vest Up 4 The Fallen, is a dynamic initiative designed to engage Veterans, Active Duty Military Members, First Responders, and their families through both physical challenges and meaningful community experiences. From invigorating events to restorative retreats, our programs empower participants to strengthen themselves—physically, mentally, and emotionally—while fostering camaraderie, support, and a deep sense of belonging.

As part of Operation R.P.G., the Heroes Retreat provides a peaceful, fully funded space where veterans and military families can relax, recharge, and reconnect with loved ones.

Together with our community events, this program creates meaningful opportunities for healing, connection, and renewed purpose.

Each activity, gathering, and retreat reinforces teamwork, perseverance, and the enduring legacy of our heroes. Through these experiences, veterans, first responders, and their families discover strength, unity, and inspiration—reminding us all that the courage and sacrifice of those who serve will never be forgotten.

We honor: Their Dedication. Their Selflessness. Their Legacy.

Our Motto: "Resilience is a Shared Burden, Strength is Contagious, and Courage Can Inspire.”

The Meaning:

  • Resilience is a Shared Burden: Challenges and hardships are faced together, supported by a community that understands and uplifts each other.

  • Strength is Contagious: The courage and perseverance of one person inspires others to rise, creating a ripple of determination and hope.
  • Courage Can Inspire: True bravery motivates everyone around it, fostering growth, connection, and the will to keep moving forward.

 Operation R.P.G - Resilience, Persistence & Grit

Through Operation R.P.G., Vest Up 4 the Fallen empowers Veterans, Active Duty Service Members, First Responders, and their families to engage in experiences that build resilience, foster connection, and strengthen well-being. From community gatherings and team-building challenges to physical events like 5Ks and marathons, participants are given meaningful opportunities to decompress, recharge, and reclaim both mental and physical strength.

These experiences go beyond fitness and stress relief—they cultivate camaraderie, forge unbreakable bonds, and create support networks that last long after the event ends. As part of Operation R.P.G., the Heroes Retreat extends this mission by offering a restorative space where veterans and military families can relax, reconnect, and heal in a safe, welcoming environment.

By participating in and supporting Operation R.P.G., we bridge the gap between civilians and those who serve, fostering understanding, appreciation, and awareness of the challenges faced both in service and beyond. Together, we strengthen our heroes, uplift their families, and build a community rooted in resilience, persistence, and grit.
